40 day challenge

Let's build a lasting relationship to self care
October 3rd, I will launch my fall 40 day challenge, The Elixir of Good Health, an offering for those who want to build a lasting relationship to self-care—inside and out. I have been churning with ideas in the past weeks and have felt a surge of creativity and inspiration. This is one of the things that I love about fall. I have also felt the sadness that comes with the colder months which is not as much fun. One of the things that has brought me a great deal of pleasure and purpose is teaching yoga and seeing the true goodness that the practice brings. I intend that this challenge will bring a great deal of support and care. I have been listening to that voice that says: sleep in, take a walk, don’t add more to your schedule, make soup, start an indoor project, check in with those you love, clean the bathtub, rub your feet, dance, watch the birds, and say goodby to the leaves. We all have that voice; honoring it will be part of how we engage with wellness during our challenge.
To support us through mid-November, each week's lesson (two weekly live or zoom classes) will include nourishment through practice for the physical body, creative practices to gather the mind and rest to connect to source. I’m excited to share, listen, and practice with you. This 6-week challenge is being offered on a sliding scale; if you want to join me, please do. If you can’t make it to the live classes or zoom meetings, no worries, practice with the replay.
The challenge will focus on building a supportive community and a sustainable relationship to self-care. Together we will move towards the end of the year (fall, winter, and flu season) with more ease. Each week's lesson will include an offering to nourish the physical body, gather the mind, and connect with Source. Some of these may consist of: physical yoga practice, meditation, time in nature, self inquiry, creative journaling to engage with the gratitude and contemplation and relaxation and yoga Nidra practices.
I hope that we can collaborate to bring stability and peace to the community. Remember we are co-creating a supportive circle to promote a healthy strong body with mental capacity during this drying season and into the winter season.
DATES:

(Oct. 3rd is a Saturday - feel free to join me for Saturday morning yoga class 9:00- 10:20 am. Our first official challenge class will be Monday, October 5th at noon.)

TIME:
Two classes to choose from each week.
Mistyoga on Monday’s 12:00 - 1:00 pm (1 hour duration)
Restorative on Thursday’s 5:50 - 7:00 pm (1 hr. 10 min. duration)
LOCATIONS:
Thursday Restorative: Mistyoga Downtown Rifle Studio and Virtual Zoom Studio
Monday Mistyoga: Backyard patio on 3rd (as long as the weather is nice) and Virtual Zoom Studio
SUGGESTED PAYMENTS:
Sliding Scale: $54 - $108
$108 Regular tuition > $54 sliding price for those that can afford a reduced price.
