Full Moon Soul yoga❣️
Restorative
Sunday August 18th 6:00 - 7:30 pm
This will be a restorative practice ~ simple restorative yoga poses with focus on smooth breathing and mindful internal visualization. In restorative yoga blocks, bolsters and blankets are used for support to eliminate unnecessary straining while in a pose. This allows you to open your body slowly and gently. Through passive stretching and focused breathing you will create the atmosphere necessary to heal body, mind & heart. This class can also be an excellent complement to a more active lifestyle. My hope is to create a container of safety & support. In a safe space you may meet and connect with your individual self and your spirit allies who will act as guides along the way. This is a delightful process of self exploration. A way to access hidden parts of self giving you a unique and perhaps new perspective into the work you are here to do both within yourself and in the world. Join me a circle of self discovery using breath work, gentle yoga, guided imagery, relaxation, free movement, creativity, rattle & drumming.
This experience is meant to be playful and help us open to new possibilities within ourselves and the world around us.

Our Ancestors long ago, used sound journeys to ask for guidance, direction and healing for their tribe. They experienced first hand how sound could give them access to another world. Sound is vibration and vibration is in everything. Science has shown us that vibration has the power to move and change energy. If we could see our world from a different perspective we would see that everything is actually vibration. With this said we are constantly surrounded by sound, some disturbing some pleasant and everything in between. At times this is out of our control but what we can choose, whatever vibration or energy that is, shapes our lives and the lives of those around us.

Deep relaxation can give access the brain frequency Delta. Delta is our slowest brain frequency. It is found when our awareness is completely detached, this is most likely to be in dreamless sleep or very deep transcendental meditation. Delta is the realm of our unconscious mind that is the gateway to the Universal mind and the collective unconscious. The information received here is otherwise unavailable at the conscious level. Delta is associated with deep healing and regeneration.
Yoga Nidra, and repetitive sound/vibration help us to drop into a deep sleep or a state of deep relaxation.

full moon practice
What you'll need is a comfortable quiet setting, a piece of paper or journal and some paints, colored markers, crayons even magazines can be used to cut and paste.
Arrive. Settle. Allow your breath to flow easily. Enter into some inner space.
From this place, ask the following: "What is most alive for me right now?"
This could have to do with your spiritual life, your professional life, your relationships, and more. Nothing is off limits. The simple wish is to attend to what is most alive for you right now. Allow for some time to listen and really take it in.
Next...
Pull out your paints and other supplies and simply begin to draw. Continue to listen deeply from the well of your quiet mind and allow that to come onto the paper as you feel drawn to respond. Tune into impulse if you can. Notice what arises in the process like doubt, fear, judgements, etc. Once you feel that your page has been justly created, sit back and look at your creation. Is there anything you would like to add, replace, remove, or embellish? Do so. You will know when you're finished. When you are finally done, drawing from what you have discovered put this into an actionable I am statement.
Revisit your creation over the coming days and weeks and see if any new insights, questions, or actions emerge for you.
