What is Reiki?
Reiki is a non-invasive complementary healing modality. It is a Japanese word meaning Universal (rei) Life Force Energy (ki). All beings have access to Reiki and it refers to a similar concept as Prana and Chi. Reiki practitioners have been given a larger capacity for this energy through the attunement process. It allows them to offer this energy to others to strengthen their healing potential. Reiki can be used to complement and increase the effectiveness of medical treatments and medications and in some cases, reduce side-effects. It can help with a range of conditions as it renews our own body’s ability to heal itself.
Reiki I
Reiki I is for anyone who is interested in learning a non-invasive holistic healing technique that elevates our innate ability to heal. Universal life force (Reiki) energy is available to everyone. This class will empower you to tap into this for your own healing. Level I training will allow you to offer this energy to anyone, but it’s primary focus is self care, as we need to work on our own vessel first. This is a Level I certification class.

Erin Piatt was first introduced to Reiki and other complementary therapies by her mother and her colleagues. They were all nurses who were passionate about their roles as healers, deeply spiritual women and looking to deepen their nursing practice. Growing up within the circle of their influence greatly impacted Erin’s path and her approach to healing. In 1999 she completed training as a Reiki Master. Since then she has integrated Reiki into her roles as a caregiver, educator and community facilitator. Reiki and the connection it has fostered within her to the world of spirit has been a guiding force throughout her life. Without this connection and the influence of the other healers and teachers in her life she would not be who she is today.
