This is part of a creative series brought forward with the intention to help students cultivate a strong yoga foundation while learning the fundamental elements of yoga. In our Winter thread we will explore the practice of Yoga Nidra (deep rest) over the course of 40 days.

— a soft return to center.

So many demands for the new year...

This is not wisdom, it's panicked intention setting.
 
Urgency is just a trick that rushes you before your body has caught up.
It pulls power from you before you've had a chance to decide where you want to place it.

So many of us are still carrying unfinished threads from the last round. 

This is why I decided to create the Yoga Nidra Thread.

Join me for 40 days of deliberate devotion to rest—a nervous-system seduction back into safety, softness, and ease.
This is Yoga Nidra—yogic sleep—where effort dissolves and awareness lingers, where you’re held in the space between waking and dreaming.
Each session opens with gentle, unhurried movement, just enough to awaken sensation and invite the body to exhale.
From there, you’re guided into deep, luxurious stillness. Over time, the movement fades into the background and the rest takes center stage—longer, deeper, more intimate.
Each practice drops you deeper into a place where the mind softens, the body melts, and the nervous system remembers how good it feels to let go.

This thread is a resource ritual—a place to return when you want to slow down, drop in, and be quietly undone.
