Coming into shared practice is a vulnerable space to enter, which means it is also a brave space. Yoga and other healing practices give us an opportunity to become, to witness and to release old patterns. This creates space for our authentic dreams to come forward and take root.
Yoga 365 is a year long remote series with weekly livestream yoga classes also recorded for your personal use throughout the year. The practices I will be sharing have been culminating through many years of practice and teaching. Each weekly practice is thoughtfully planned out and then allowed to evolve as intuition guides us. Our yoga sequencing is based on Hatha and Tantra yoga, creatively intertwining these two systems to create a complete practice.
Yoga 365 is a commitment that you make to yourself in service to supporting your practice, living your dreams, healing physical, mental and emotional trauma, and growing your self-trust.
In our weekly yoga practice's we will weave together asana (with variations), pranayama (breath), sun salutations as well as dipping our toes into 12 basic poses (with modifications), mantra, kriya, and deep relaxation.
The weekly classes will be on Monday's 5:55 - 6:55 pm, with an optional 10 minutes after class for meditation practice. Throughout the year, we are aware of the phases of the moon, a practice to encourage deep listening and atunement to our own inner rhythms.
Metaphorically and literally, the energy of the moon aligns with emotions, subconscious, darkness and the night, dreams, intuition, introspection, and inner sensing (felt senses).

Yoga 365 participants will receive weekly emails with fresh insight, wisdom, and encouragement to feed your soul on the journey. You will be given a 20% discount on any private session you wish to book throughout the entire year.
This includes all personal healing, reiki, and private yoga sessions.
You will also be able to drop into any of Misty's in studio classes for $10/class (that's less than if you were to purchase a punch pass).
The live practice is recorded and available usually within 24-48 hours of the meetup for everyone who is unable to make it live.

The manifestation of Yoga 365... my first very real experience of yoga was in 2009 at teacher training. It was a month long training at the Sivananda Ashram on Paradise Island in the Bahamas (right on the ocean). I was motivated to take this training for a few of different reasons...my yoga teacher at the time decided to close our local studio (this was before there were so many online classes) and probably the biggest motivation was that my mom passed away. At the time I was attending a weekly class, had done so for a year + and yoga was definitely helping me sort through my stuff, both internal and external. Being new to yoga I was very dependent on my teacher and so I was not prepared to practice on my own when the studio closed. I felt lost - that was when my life really began to change. I signed up for the training, refinanced the house to do it and then left for a month long teacher training. That month changed my life in so many ways, the sense of peace I felt by the end was indescribable other than to say I felt bliss. This is what yoga will do when truly applied to your life. So now I had all the tools to practice on my own and I went home with the confidence to continue on this path. What I found out is that practicing on your own is not as easy as it sounds. I stepped on to my yoga mat each day with just me, myself and I and even bigger than that, I was stepping into what was for me a brand new way of living yet in the same world I'd left a month ago. It takes self discipline and commitment to get on your mat each day especially when you are surrounded by folks that may not be living the same path. Over the years I have found ways to stay motivated on my yogic path, one of the boldest was to create a yoga space in the town where I lived. A place to gather folks that are interested in walking with me. It wasn't too long before I found a new teacher, one that would inspire me to grow and keep me moving forward on this path of life. And now here I am 20+ years in and still amazed at what yoga can do when applied consistently. My intention for Yoga 365 is to share my practice and what I have learned through the years with you. I believe that committing to a length of time, 52 weeks is a sure way to set you up for success in whatever it is that you choose to pursue. I hope you will join me this year.

Misty, is a free spirited artist and Colorado native with 18 years of personal yoga experience. She offers a depth of knowledge in the yogic tradition with 200 hour RYS in Sivananda Yoga, 300 hour RYS in Para Yoga and 500 hour RYS through Yoga Alliance. Misty lives in Rifle Colorado where she has worked since 2009 to build a strong yoga community known as Mistyoga. In love with yoga for over a decade she offers a unique and personal approach to sharing yoga that will guide you to a deeper understanding of yourself, empower you to live your dreams and help you to connect to a real sense of peace and joy.
