take a leap of faith ~ 40 day journey
❣️
Union ~ self Trust ~ Devotion ~ courage
December 29th - February 2nd 2025
6 weeks ~ 40 days
Sunday mornings 10:00 - 11:11 am
Practice is in studio.
I meet to unite with my own heart in a space of union, self trust, devotion and courage.
`
Hanuman (the monkey god), from the depth of his devotion to Ram, once made a great flying leap across the ocean. By tapping into an inner power that allowed him to grow to many times his normal size he leapt across the ocean in one single bold leap.
Join me on a 40 day journey. This is not just a yoga class, it's an exploration of your own devotion and commitment to your souls purpose. This is an opportunity for you to consider what your practice, and indeed your very life, is devoted to and offered in service of.
***
We begin our journey by opening to grace. Create a stable and strong foundation by gathering your power and bringing it in. Balancing the inner and outer spiral root down into the earth and into your core. Now, aligning all of your recourses, body, mind, and spirit radiate energy outward with a sense of expansion and freedom.
This is the perfect place to take the figurative and literal leap of Hanuman.
Mother, she is here, she is with you. When you call for her she will come and wrap her loving arms around you, protect you, feed you, love you.
You are safe!

The Journey
One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice ~
though the whole house began to tremble and you felt the old tug at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
Each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do, though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers at the very foundations, though their melancholy was terrible.
It was already late enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen branches and stones.
But little by little, as you left their voice behind,
the stars began to burn through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice which you slowly
recognized as your own, that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper into the world,
determined to do the only thing you could do ~
determined to save the only life that you could save.
