This Drum Birthing workshop is a 2‑Day Rite of Passage Experience



When I built my own horse-hide drum with Tara, it felt like a true rite of passage into the world of drumming. That drum opened a deep connection to Earth as mother and to the oneness we can cultivate with all of existence. I’m thrilled to be offering this special weekend as I rebuild my horse drum at a place that means everything to me—my home in Rifle, Colorado.

What to expect
- Intimate, hands‑on two‑day workshop (non‑residential)  
- We begin late afternoon Friday with an opening ceremony and close Sunday afternoon with a final ceremony  
- Rebuild or create your own horse-hide drum with guidance and storytelling  
- Access to my home, backyard, and art studio  
- Lunch provided both days; water, tea, coffee, and ceremonial cacao available throughout  
- Small group, soulful atmosphere with a few special surprises revealed during the weekend  
- Fun, grounding, and magical — a real rite of passage



​Cost & registration
- Full cost: $1,999 (non‑residential)  
- $600 non‑refundable deposit required at sign‑up; deposit secures your spot and lets you choose your hide and other drum specifics
